Strike Protection
Policy holding UFCW members are eligible for a “Strike Waiver of Premium Rider”. When New England UFCW’s went on strike with Stop & Shop in 2019, April premiums were waived for over 8,600 member policy holders across 3 locals due to their lack of pay from April 11 thru April 21.
There was no interruption of coverage.
